I was not doing much on Saturday so I decided to take the kids to a festival at the local Gibson mansion which is a state historical site located in Woodland. Well Cody backed out saying he was too old for that stuff so it wound up just being me, Taylor and my mom.
They had a craft room set up for the kids and we had a tour of the mansion. The funny part of the day was Taylor spotting the places where they have added electrical outlets and calling them cheaters every time. They had a firetruck for the kids to sit on and a plant sale as well. We bought Taylor and Cody each a plant. Taylor picked an Aloe Vera plant and Cody got a cactus. Next Saturday the boys are going to ride in the annual Christmas parade on a firetruck. That should be fun and I will post some pics of that one.
